Outstanding food in a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and pleasant guests characterize the somewhat remote inn. Absolutely recommended: carp in all variations. Best Franconian cuisine!

My mushroom cream schnitzel was top quality, well seasoned, sauce and spaetzle served as a treat. Did not have to wait too long. Ambience cozy / dignified. Everything was very consistent.

We always feel well at the village well. Great Franconian food and I like to call it country inn. It stands out from the one or the other good hostels in the Aischtal with a thoroughly comfortable atmosphere, attention to detail and even changing, regionally exhibited (painting) artists something off. If you look closely at the map you will notice that you will always come across small features and will always discover seasonal refinements. We especially like to drink the Bacchus from Meier-Ulsenheim there..sufffig, mild, semi-dry. For some dishes with sauce you`ll be fooled. Since we meet there many guests from the region again and again, they probably share our opinion. Cozy, friendly, fair prices u. nicely prepared, good portions. We are there monthly at least 1 to 2 x and if you're lucky enough, get from the landlords sometimes a Franconian sway from the history with. Always worthwhile to look at. We look forward to next time.

Excellent food, very friendly service. Here it is worthwhile to go to dinner. I ate Frankish Schnitzel in the horseradish crust, which was on the normal menu. In addition, there was also a daily or weekly updated map with dishes such as fillet of red trout on vegetable tagliatelle, which was also excellent. Fortunately we had reserved, I can only recommend, because the restaurant is not huge. We will definitely be back. We had plenty of time to choose and the food arrived in a good time. Thanks for the great food!

The dishes are really delicious and there is plenty of choice from the regional cuisine. , What I really liked is the price / performance ratio. Table reservations for larger groups are no problem and there is also a play area for toddlers.

We went to eat carp today and had ordered 3 medium ones, but they came in different sizes, not a gram of spice on them, not even on the potato salad. Then we wanted black bread and got 3 slices of baguette, so it is absolutely not worth the trip from Nuremberg, it works much better in the city!

Ordered a carp. This one was really greasy and not good. The price is above average for this region and the food is not worth the extra charge. There are other inns that are cheaper and far better! By the way, a Schäufele costs an incredible 13 € !!!

The food deserves 4 or even 5 stars. Franconian good, there's nothing to complain about. Tastes simple and the portions are plentiful. Points deducted because of the numerous flies. That was annoying. The tables are a bit tight when fully occupied. You get up close and personal with the person sitting next to you. The restaurant is very nicely furnished in a rustic style. Reservations should be made at the weekend. The prices are reasonable. There are a few tables with parasols in front of the house.
